Mechanical Engineering & Production Technology Student
A technically grounded engineering student with experience across industrial management, manufacturing systems, and quality operations — bringing structure and precision to practical, real-world challenges.
I study Mechanical Engineering and Production Technology at Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK), where I focus on manufacturing systems, mechanical design, and quality-driven process improvement. Before HAMK, I completed studies in Industrial Management at Karelia University of Applied Sciences — a programme built around production planning, supply chain fundamentals, and project-based problem solving.
What draws me to engineering is the intersection of systems thinking and practical application. I'm not interested in solutions that look good on paper — I want to understand how things work, where they break down, and how to make them more efficient. That mindset has carried through from my academic work into my professional experience, and it shapes how I approach every project I'm part of.
Outside the classroom, I've worked in structured environments that required independent judgment, customer-facing communication, and the ability to manage several responsibilities at the same time. Those experiences gave me a ground-level understanding of how organisations actually function — which I find invaluable alongside the technical side of my degree.
Technical tools and methods alongside the collaborative and organisational skills that make engineering work in practice.
Roles that sharpened my ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate effectively in commercial environments.
Two engineering programmes — one focused on manufacturing and design, the other on industrial systems and management.
